A typical day
I like to take them out for a walk and take a slightly different route each time if possible so the dog doesn't get bored of walks, then we would come back and play with toys or play fetch so they can run around.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of a puppy before that needed tended care, I cleaned up her playpen, fed her, gave her time to spend outside, and gave her lots of pets. I have also taken care of two big dogs, a golden retriever, and a chocolate lab, these are loving dogs who love when I come by to take care. Lastly, I have cared for two little rascals, Jack Russels, who love going outside for their walks and want many pets.

I hired Merit for 5 night house sitting, where she would stay in my home and care for my 2 senior dogs. After the second night, she sent me a message saying she wouldn’t be continuing with the booking because she was uncomfortable with 1 of my dogs humping a blanket. She continued with a laundry list of excuses about personal and family issues and left me scrambling to find someone else to care for my dogs while I was already out of the country. She then told me she would modify the booking so I’d only pay for the 2 nights she was already there but changed the booking to try to charge me 3 nights instead. The timing of her visits was not what we agreed upon, I have ring camera footage showing she came and left my house at intervals longer than expected, leaving my dogs along longer than agreed. I would NOT recommend using this person if you want adequate and loving care for your dogs.
Merrit was able to successfully take care of a senior dog with special needs, in addition to the cats. I really appreciate the photos and check-in notices. The babies are all happy.
