Because I work from home, pets fit naturally into my daily routine and are rarely left alone for long periods of time. My flexible schedule allows me to give them lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and downtime throughout the day depending on their needs and personality. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or more laid-back and cuddly, I do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and part of the household.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore, plus a pet-friendly home with plenty of space to relax. Safety and trust are extremely important to me, and I always want pet parents to feel confident leaving their furry family member in my care. In this house, dogs are loved, respected, and always welcome on the furniture for snuggles :)

Information Merina C. would like to know about your pet
I want to make sure your pup has the best stay possible! Before booking, let me know about any special needs or quirks so I can be fully prepared. Things like medications, allergies, how they do with other male dogs, whether they're crate or potty trained, separation anxiety; anything that helps me give them the best care. The more I know, the happier and more comfortable they’ll be!
A typical day
Taking care of pets in my home means plenty of playtime in the backyard, cozy hangouts inside, and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. My dog, Nash, loves to play outside, so we have daily backyard ball-throwing sessions to keep him moving, and guest pups are always welcome to join in on the fun (if they’re up for it)!

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and I truly love it! Since I work from home, your pup will get plenty of attention, companionship, and cuddles throughout the day. My own dog has been my sidekick for the past six years, so I know firsthand how important it is to leave your pet somewhere safe and loving. I treat every dog like family and always want them to feel right at home while they’re here.
Reviews

Merina was wonderful with Griffey - she followed instructions for her care and had no issues giving Griff her eye drops. She sent me a lot of updates/photos so we knew Griffey was enjoying her time with Merina. I know Griffey would love to go back!

We had just moved to Charlotte and our dog was a huge pain for Merina, she and her fiancé still crushed it. Highly recommend

Merina was super responsive and professional. We had a meet and greet before the long stay to make sure the dogs got along. She sent me lots of photos and updates. My pup usually behaves strangely after being separated from us but she was chipper and very much her normal self. Thanks Merina!

We were a bit nervous leaving our 10-year-old bulldog with someone new, but Merina was absolutely amazing. From the start, she was warm, professional, and very communicative. She sent daily updates that gave us so much peace of mind, and it was clear our dog was in great hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Merina truly deserves all 5 stars — highly recommend!
