Pet care experience
I offer dog and cat sitting, drop-ins for dogs and cats, and dog walking. I have experience house-sitting for small to very large dogs, and have a natural ability to bond with almost any dog or cat. I have walked well behaved, leash trained dogs to very hard to manage leash beginners. I have also walked dogs ranging from teacup Chihuahua to Great Dane. I have experience with sick animals and managing and administering medications and monitoring symptoms. My experience includes administering medications to very scared, difficult dogs, as well as cats. I can identify unusual behaviors to report as needed. I also have experience with puppy deliveries, puppies, adult, and senior dogs with special needs. I love all animals and pride myself in taking the best care of every pet. I have 3 cats of my own I play with and care for daily, and I work part time so I have plenty of time for your pet! I unfortunately can’t board/sit pets at my house every day, however I have experience with indoor and outdoor pets with both fenced or non-fenced yards. I respect the environment that is most comfortable and familiar to the pet.

Meretta is fabulous! She really takes the time and effort to get on the good side of a dog. She was patient with my 14-year-old mini schnauzer, who can be a cranky old man. I recommend her highly. And the house was left clean and tidy. We communicated daily so I would know how he was doing. She really is a gem.
Meretta has been our dog walker for a few months and is so hard working and good at communicating! She was so good with our dogs as well!!

Meretta sent detailed updates and pictures every day! She was extremely responsive, responsible with his routine, and left our home super clean and in great shape when we returned. You can tell she genuinely loves caring for animals. I can’t say enough great things about her, and would highly recommend her to anyone!

I have no breed preferences. I love to know the general activity level for each dog, and the activities they enjoy. I also prefer to be aware of any medical issues or triggers to ensure to make the experience as comfortable as possible for the dog.
A typical day
I love to do the activities that the dogs love to do! For active dogs there are walks, trips to the dog park, and playing. For the less-active dogs, it may include shorter walks, or being lazy together. I always love to play with their favorite toys. And if we’re inside and it’s time to chill, I’m thrilled to just snuggle up.

Availability
I do work, however I have a lot of free time, and can work around my work schedule. I’m able to take and decline shifts as needed. I will let you know of any scheduling issues as soon as I get the request.
