I work three days a week in downtown DC, but spending time with pets is the perfect way to unwind and de-stress after a busy day at the office. It’s truly a highlight of my routine! On Mondays and Fridays, I work from home, which gives me extra flexibility to take on longer pet-sitting assignments or drop by during the day to let your pet out or provide them with some attention. I’m also available all weekend, and I’m more than happy to do overnight stays if needed. Whether it’s providing midday bathroom breaks or offering extended care during longer trips, I can easily accommodate your pet’s needs around my schedule. My work-life balance allows me to give your pet the attention and companionship they deserve while you’re away!

In my apartment, I create a cozy, pet-friendly environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds (within my building’s breed restrictions). While I don't currently have any pets of my own, I provide plenty of space for exercise, playtime, and relaxation. I prioritize each pet’s individual needs, whether it’s following their specific feeding and bathroom schedules, engaging in fun activities, or simply offering quiet companionship. I’m always attentive to any special requirements, like medication or dietary needs, and ensure they feel right at home during their stay. When caring for pets in their own homes, I make sure to respect their routines and surroundings, providing a consistent, comfortable environment while you're away. Whether it's feeding, walks, or keeping them company, I adjust my care to fit your pet’s preferences and needs. I also offer overnight stays, so your pet gets the security and comfort of having someone there all night. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing love, attention, belly rubs and care in a safe, welcoming space!

I do not have any breed preferences, but I would prefer to know if a dog is house trained before sitting him/her. I would also prefer to know if the dog is comfortable with leash walking and/or is vocal, either inside the house or outside of the house. I prefer my clients to provide me with a list of emergency contacts before they leave their pet with me as well as a feeding schedule.
A typical day
A typical day with me as your pet sitter is filled with care, attention, and fun tailored to your pet’s unique personality and needs! Whether we’re starting the morning with a brisk walk to stretch our legs or enjoying some quiet cuddle time, I’ll make sure your pet feels loved and secure throughout the day. For active pups, I love heading to nearby parks or green spaces for long walks, games of fetch, or a bit of tug-of-war (I’ve been told I’m a worthy opponent!). If your pet prefers a slower pace, we can enjoy leisurely strolls, plenty of tummy rubs, or just relaxing companionship at home. For cats or smaller animals, I’m happy to engage with their favorite toys, offer soothing pets, or simply ensure their environment stays clean and comfortable. I prioritize your pet’s well-being by sticking to their established routines, whether that’s timely meals, medication, or bathroom breaks. If they have special preferences—like avoiding other dogs or extra cuddles—I’ll happily adjust to make their day stress-free and enjoyable. Every interaction is filled with affection, care, and a commitment to making your pet feel happy and safe in my company. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to make sure your pet has the best time while you’re away, whether that means adventurous outings, playful moments, or just being their trusted companion.

I’ve had a lifelong love for animals, growing up with dogs and cats and caring for everything from fish to hamsters. My experience extends beyond just personal pet ownership—I've volunteered at an animal shelter during college, gaining hands-on knowledge in caring for a variety of pets. I even took horseback riding lessons and learned the ins and outs of horse care! After moving to Arlington a few years ago, I started pet sitting and have since expanded my services to the DC area. My apartment allows dogs (with some breed restrictions), but I can’t have one of my own at the moment, which is why I miss spending time with them so much. That’s also why I’m so excited to offer my services—spending time with animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments brings me so much joy! I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs, but honestly, I find joy in every pet I meet. I’m always the one stopping to pet dogs on the street or identifying breeds as I walk by. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, or just companionship, I’d love the chance to get to know them and provide the care they deserve. I’m here to help give your pet the attention and love they need while also making sure you're comfortable knowing they’re in good hands!
