Student who LOVES all animals!
I have worked with a dog rescue for a few years now, which includes fostering, transporting, you name it. I have been a board member with the rescue I work with as well. I have a huge passion for helping animals. I can do just about anything, administer medications, give baths, anything. I am a nursing student, so I have a background in healthcare. Dogs have always been drawn to me, and I have been drawn to them. I grew up around dogs my entire life. My husband and I are a great team and I am very diligent about taking and sending pics throughout your dogs stay, I know I would want pics and updates often so I try to do the same. I would love to watch your furbaby while you are away. I believe that a home environment is way better than boarding. I would like to meet your furbaby/furbabies before watching them. I like to meet them with you so they will be comfortable with me when I watch them. Please let me know any behavioral issues beforehand. I have fostered dogs straight off the streets so I can handle just about any dog no matter the issue so no worries. When your baby is with us, we take walks each evening-weather permitted, we have a big and secure backyard. I never ever leave a dog unsupervised in the yard. Your pet is welcome to get on the couches and bed with us. If it's not allowed in your home then let me know so we can keep consistency. I have no breed preference at all. If your dog is used to being kenneled while away during the day or at night please let me know so we can keep consistency. I also would like to know if your little one digs in trash or gets up on counters so I can be prepared :-) I only take one client at a time, but if there is some overlap I will ask and inform both owners beforehand. We recently lost our furbaby Layla, and it's just too quiet around here now ;-(

Meredith was such a great sitter. She is very responsive and sent great pictures of my pup. My dog seems so happy in her pictures and in really good spirits when we got home. I will definitely use her services again.

Meredith and her husband watched our dog for a week while we went to Mexico and she gave us peace of mind while we were away that Xena was taken care of! We had never been away from her that long and we loved receiving photo updates of our fur baby! They were also very responsive before and during her stay. We would love for Meredith to watch Xena again in the future!
Meredith and her family are the best. Furry kids will be in excellent hands. Lots of pictures and they’re very nice; but what set her apart, is how my animals seemed at such ease when I picked them up. They very obviously loved her and her husband. That said everything. Many thanks!
Meredith took amazing care of our pittie while we were away! She kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos and we were able to enjoy our trip knowing our boy was being loved on.

A typical day
We live in a wonderful historic neighborhood with many friendly neighbors and doggies. So weather permitting we like to walk them around our neighborhood each evening. There is a school a few blocks away that is gated off and has a track that I like to walk around. There is also another park that's not too far from us that we frequently visit. We have a good sized back yard, so I like to go out there and play frisbee or fetch with them. Since we are on the corner a lot of the dogs have fun barking at the people walking by lol. If your baby is pretty active and requires more stimulation/release of energy, there is a dog park that isn't too far.

- If there are any behavioral issues, such as toy aggression, food aggression etc. If your dog gets into the trash, so that I know to put the trash up and away when I am not at home. Please let me know if your dog like to counter surf-aka can get ahold of anything left out on the counters. Food: please write down their food schedule and amount when I am watching them. Also if your dog has any food allergies or if they aren't allowed human food. Walks; please let me know how they are on walks, or if they are accustomed to a walk every evening. Also please let me know how they interact with other dogs. Typically when walking any dog I will go to the other side of the street if I see another leashed (or unleashed) dog coming, just to avoid any confrontation at all, but sometime it is unavoidable, so please let me know how they are with other animals.
