I’m an elementary special education teacher and lifelong animal lover who enjoys spending time outdoors, so dog walking and drop-in visits are the perfect fit for me. Whether your dog loves a leisurely stroll or a longer walk to burn off energy, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection while you’re away. Although I’m new to Rover, I have years of hands-on pet sitting experience. For the past 10 years I’ve regularly cared for a friend’s two dogs, including several week-long stays while they traveled. I’ve also cared for another friend’s two dogs on multiple occasions over the past two years. I have experience caring for senior pets and those with medical needs. I’m comfortable giving oral medications, and I currently give daily insulin injections to my 14-year-old diabetic cat, so I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and careful attention to instructions. I’ve owned dogs of all sizes and personalities, including a Boxer, Blue Heeler, and Chihuahua, as well as multiple cats over the years. Today I care for my senior diabetic cat, so I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s hands. You can count on me to be dependable, communicative, and attentive. I’ll treat your pets like members of my own family, send updates and photos, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
