I have an opening now for recurring walks or visits during the week! Please contact me if you need regular pet care services Monday through Friday. I owned the sweetest border collie, Wilson, who I took care of as he aged, and helped him to be as loved and happy as possible until it was his time to cross the rainbow bridge. I have experience with e-collar training, any type of collar, and reactive or under-trained dogs. I have experience with senior cats, as well, and FIV+ and diabetic cats. I am also trained in giving injections, oral medication, and can care for pets with special needs or specific clinical care instructions. As a trained scientist, I am highly detail oriented and will accommodate even the most particular, specific care requests to make sure your cat or dog is comfortable, content, healthy, and well cared for. I am a conscientious, clean house guest, and will always leave your home just a little cleaner than I found it. I am happy to help with basic household care during overnight bookings. Feel free to ask if you have questions about my services and if you have time, I always appreciate written notes! I have gained so much knowledge in dog care this past year and a half as a shelter volunteer, and I'm comfortable with reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and can give extra care for separation anxiety. I've begun training with Austin Pets Alive! as part of their volunteer team. However, I'm not fully trained myself, yet, so I do not offer training, but I will follow your dog's routine and training regimen, with the upmost respect for their progress and schedule. Please know that all animals are required per Rover and my preference to be on each booking. This does include cats!

Safety, trust & environment
For safety, I have liability insurance, separate from Rover, with proof available upon request. This protects both your pets and property. I'll cater to your dog's preferences, whether it's walks, playing in the yard, a dog park, or chilling indoors. I have references available upon request and am more than happy to meet either in person or via video chat before all bookings.
Ratings and reviews
We are so happy with the care Meredith provided our Chihuahua with. This was the first time anyone outside the family has cared for her. Meredith kept in constant communication with us as needed. The pictures of Lady she sent us during our time away was comforting and reassuring. We look forward to rebooking with Meredith in the future.
Meredith was wonderful. She took good care of our two cats, sent pictures every time and was very responsive. We came home to happy cats, and a clean litter box. We will use her services again!

We were traveling in an RV Caravan with a long day in Austin. Merideth came and visited the day before and walked both our dogs as scheduled. Thank you Merideth.

Schedule
I provide pet care full-time and am available any time shown on my calendar. I do my best to keep my availability updated! I am available to walk or drop-in on weekdays, weekends, and do offer overnight and extended care on a case-by-case basis. I'm also available to drop off your dog at day care and pick up after, or taxi them to a trail or park for my visit. I am pursuing this venture in pet care full-time, while still maintaining my passion for biosciences.
