I have taken care of dogs since I was 20. I have personally had 9 dogs, 2 of which are still living. They are a German Shepherd and a mixed hound. I also foster dogs from time to time. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, with dogs that need any special medication, as one of my dogs was a diabetic and blind. Also, I am comfortable with dogs that have aggression issues, as long as we work out how to address them before your dog stays with me, and no one gets hurt. Two of my German Shepherds have aggression issues that I had to work through. A little about me: I am going back to get my master's and teach. Currently, I am substitute teaching, and we undergo a very thorough background check, including fingerprints and a check with the FBI. I am willing to provide long-term boarding for deployments or similar situations. That is the case; we can discuss the details and the long-term care rate. I have a very large fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play. It is 1/3 of an acre. I have radiant heat in the floors of my house, and most of the time, the dogs lie on the nice, warm floor. I do have a camera in the backyard. I can give you access while your dog is staying here with me. :) I’m sorry, I cannot take any more neutered dogs. The few I have had have been working all over my house, and it doesn’t matter how much cleaning you do, or how special the treatments are, they don't work. It’s a big problem with unneutered dogs. I do hope you consider neutering your dog.

Meredith provided excellent care to our dog, Sushi :) She gave us daily updates (some videos too!), and made sure that Sushi enjoyed her stay at her place (even gave her frozen treats coz it was so warm out) She has 2 dogs of her own, and you can tell she just enjoys taking care of animals.. no complaints, will definitely think of her the next time we need someone to take care of Sushi :) Highly recommend! Meredith is great. She is attentive and wants to know specifics about your dog/s. I feel she took special care of my elder dog and my younger dog enjoyed herself with other more youthful dogs. I got many updates and appreciated not having to ask or worry about them. I will definitely seek her out again when we go somewhere.
Meredith was incredible! I will definitely be returning to her when we need care again. It was evident the genuine care for my pup, and the communication throughout the stay was top tier. I felt so comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands/ on his own little vacation while I was gone!
Meredith did an excellent job taking care of our pups on their first overnight boarding in a very long time! She made sure to tend to their specific needs which we so appreciated!
Meredith was a great sitter for our dog while we were on vacation. At our meet and greet I sensed her great love for her pets and those she takes into her care. She kept us very informed on how our dog was adjusting to a new place and made her feel comfortable. She was very kind, attentive and provided a safe and comfortable place for our dog. Many thanks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large yard that is fully fenced with a 6 foot fence. I treat pets as part of my family but keep them well behaved and mannered. I have fostered dogs before too, and I always try to meet the dog where they are at whether they are stressed, fearful, or have a lot of. For example, if they need a lot of exercise we go on walks and play several times a day. I find a happy dog is a happy life.

A typical day
We play fetch every day. Try to take a walk or go to the dog park. I also have some hide to treats for a game if it is raining or something like that. Older dogs like it a lot.
