Animal-loving family, fenced yard!
I come from a family where our dog was as much a member of the family as anyone. My husband, two kids and I live in a single-family home with lots of room and fenced front and back yards. My husband works from home and I work hybrid, so one or all of us are always home. My husband and I have been dog sitting for many years, with great reviews. We took a break while we grew our family, and while our children were very young. Now the kids are requesting a pet, and we think dog sitting is the perfect segue to possibly adopting a dog of our own. We love the outdoors and enjoy walks in the neighborhood and along the nearby lakefront. Your pet will feel like they've had a fantastic vacation of their own and we promise to share lots of photos!

Very nice family! Their children played with my puppy in the backyard, and they sent several lovely photos and updates during his stay, which I really appreciated. My only concern was at pickup. My 5-month-old puppy was extremely distressed when I arrived and cried continuously on the way home. His harness was also completely wet, which I believe may have been from a potty accident. He’s been house trained, so I’m not sure if he was simply overwhelmed by his first overnight away from home or if something else contributed. Overall, they were kind, welcoming, and communicative, and I appreciated the updates throughout his stay.
Meredith and her family were so awesome. They went out of their way to help us out! I was very comfortable leaving my 2 beagles with her. She kept us updated with a few messages and pics. I would definitely ask her to watch my dogs again if I needed someone.

Meredith was amazing! Even when I needed to extend the boarding time, she was very kind, understanding, and accepted everything right away without any issues. Communication was smooth, and the whole experience went really well. I truly appreciate her flexibility and care. Highly recommend!

Super appreciative of Meredith and her family for taking care of Blue. They were super fun and easy to talk with and provided frequent photo updates of Blue which I loved receiving. I would definitely recommend Meredith to watch your dog!

We have lots of room, three stories, fenced front and back yards. Our home is already kid-proofed, so it is safe for your baby as well.
A typical day
While we have a fenced yard, we love to get out and walk! We are close to the lake and dog parks. We enjoy sitting two or three dogs at once so they get the "summer camp" experience and leave with memories, new friends and a little fatigue from all the fun!
