From puppies and kittens to beloved senior pets, I have been fortunate enough to part of the journey for many pets and I'm excited to welcome your loved ones into my heart too. I've had the joy of fostering many pets over the years, as well as caring for my own cats and dogs. Each foster pet has given me valuable knowledge and the necessary skills for caring for all types of dogs and cats, meeting their unique needs, gaining their trust, and figuring out how to administer different medications.

Schedule
I have a flexible work from home schedule that easily accommodates potty breaks, play time, and walks for houseguests, as well as trips throughout the day for check-in visits outside my home. My children are in school on weekdays, leaving me at home with just the animals during the day. Weekends and evenings are typically low-key for my family which allows for all the attention and care needed for houseguests and check-in visits to other homes.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets are our family members and we treat them with love and respect. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my home, I make sure that my personal pets are healthy, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccines. My house has a fenced yard and ample indoor space for all pets. Meeting a pet's unique needs is always a top priority, whether they need a quiet space to feel safe in a new environment or prefer to not be bothered while eating a meal. When interacting with pets in their own home or my own or even just on a walk, I make sure to pay attention to their body language and adjust my behavior accordingly. I want to earn their trust and make their time with me a happy one.
Pets
A typical day
I like to cater to a dog's needs and match their energy level. I have open areas inside for dogs to play and lots of toys for a variety of preferences. My backyard has room for playing fetch and for dogs to play with each other. The backyard also has plenty of areas to just explore and sniff around. On walks in my neighborhood I like to take different streets to switch up the path from day to day. I have a semi-active neighborhood where we typically see a few other people/dogs on walks but it's not crowded and there's always an alternate route to take if a dog is leash reactive and does best on private walks. I've found that dogs usually love to just cuddle on the couch after some exercise. I like to get a big blanket and let them curl up in a cozy spot on the couch as much as they like.
