My name is Meredith and I would love to take care of your pups! I have a long history of working with animals in fields such as dog training, pet sitting, dog walking, boarding, and veterinary medicine. I owned a pet care and training company in Raleigh, NC and now handle and manage explosive detection dogs at O'Hare Airport. I have have my Master Obedience Trainer certification from one of the country's top schools, Pet First Aid Certification, and several other related certifications. I have spent countless hours working with hundreds of dogs and had my hands in training everything from feisty cocker spaniels to nervous great danes to aggressive shepherds! I currently work about 8 hour shifts 3-4 days a week so it is important your dog is used to a home that works... however my only activities before and after work are playing with and taking care of animals so they will have my full attention!

Meredith has been our number one choice to care for our very high energy GSD/ACD mix. It has been so much easier to leave our pup with someone for one week or more (and very last minute) when they keep you updated with photos and updates on how our pup is spending her time. Since our dog has been in transition with her training, it has been critical for us to find someone who will keep safety boundaries above all else with other dogs and also wants to know what she can do to make the stay easier for both us and the dog. 100% recommend her to everyone and anyone who gets an insane amount of anxiety leaving their dog anywhere even if it was overnight. She keeps them happy, and safe.
Meredith was so great at keeping me informed and sending pictures of my pup while we were away on our trip. She seems to really know a lot about dogs and I love the fact that she has veterinary tech experience and dog training certification! My pup was very happy there and I will certainly use Meredith again!
Meredith is wonderful! The boys loved her from the very beginning during our meet-and-greet. She took note of my dogs’ behaviors and knew how to give them attention. Meredith is professional and reliable. The boys love her and feel comfortable around her. We will continue to book her for walks. I highly recommend her! I’ve already recommended her to my neighbors.

THE BEST! She was punctual, attentive, and all around pleasant. My pooch can be a handful at times with new people but 15 min into the first visit, my dog was a pile of mush and very happy that Meredith was going to be caring for her. 10/10 would recommend her to look after your pets.

Schedule
My schedule is generally around 8am to 4pm. Your pet will be at my home while I am at work but before and after they will have my full attention! I am really hoping to board dogs whose families really need a vacation and want their dogs to have a great and safe time!

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are required to be up to date on vaccinations to help prevent any illnesses spreading from home to home. I am familiar with all types of leashes, harnesses, collars, and styles of pet ownership. Once I have been given a good run down of your pet's lifestyle, energy levels, wants, and needs we will get along just fine! Please provide any food, medications, or supplements they may need while in my care.

A typical day
I will tailor our activities to your wants and needs! Your dog will be immersed into my day to day life and will be treated like my own!! Whether they need more exercise or more snuggles (or a lot of both) I make sure everyone is happy.
