Im currently a work from home artist so my schedule is pretty flexible, If I had to leave I would only be gone for a maximum of 3-4 hours.

I try my best to keep them on their normal schedule they’re used to, I also take my time and earn the animals trust so they can get used to my presence! when on walks I keep my head on a swivel making sure I keep an eye out for any loose dogs, cats, etc. I always carry slip leads on me as a precaution, just in case the harness or leash breaks.

I have no breed preference, I can take care of any dog whether old or young, big or small. I think important information I would like to know before hand is their personality, I want to know what to expect and alter what I can give them depending on their temperance. It’s also important for me to know if any triggers that the pet may have, for example: doesn’t like other dogs, is scared of thunder or loud noise, has food aggression, is shy and scared easily, etc. It is important for me to know anything that you find important that I need to watch for so I can proper care for and calm them.

The activities that me and your dog will enjoy are taking long adventurous walks around the neighbourhood, before I take any dog on a walk I scope out good areas that I know will be safe and that they would enjoy sniffing around! I love exploring and I know dogs do too so I would take them on adventures that will stimulate their sense of curiosity. I believe being cooped up all day is a bore for anyone so I believe in taking as many walks as I think the dog would enjoy taking per day. On top of that I will play with them with their toys until they get tired out and then we can enjoy a nice cuddle afterwards.

I love animals and working with animals is what I love doing! I got my official start on Rover when I joined in 2019, from there I went into working in pet hotels and an animal hospital, gaining all types of knowledge when it comes to pet care and about animals! I want to help people near me who are unable to walk them and be with them all the time. I care about your pets like they are my own so I make sure I do everything for them and take the time to care for them. I used to have dogs for a majority of my life so I know how to deal and care for all types of dogs. I’ve been helping people with their pet care ever since I was a child so I know what it takes to care for all types of animals and I know that I can give them the love and attention that they deserve. At the moment I have no pets of my own but my family has cats and I used to have hermit crabs, snails, and frogs, so I’m very versatile in the care I can offer. I love my cats so much and that’s why I put so much effort and care for any pet I watch over, it takes a pet owner to know that our pets deserve the best, and I can promise you I would give my best care possible.

Our dogs loved having Meredith! They were definitely happy, well taken care of, and looked like they had fun.
Meredith came for her first extended day visit (2 hours) to entertain our 2 dogs and check-in on our farm animals. She arrived on time and stayed for the length of the agreed upon time. Her communication with me prior to and following her visit was exceptional and everything was in good order when we got home later that day. I look forward to building a relationship with Meredith for many more visits to come.
Meredith is a great sitter! She took perfect care of my two dogs in my home. Great communicator and very respectful of my requests and of the house, which she left very clean. Definitely recommended!
