Hey, I'm Meredith! After 13 years in the vet world I've realized how much I really miss dogwalking. I used to dog walk and pet sit for years in both Chicago and New Jersey (I even almost started up my business in New Jersey before needing to move back to Texas). I have been caring for animals one way or another for 20 years professionally. I've started in boarding facilities at age 20 and have now been a vet tech for 13 years. I have worked in lodging and as a trainer at a pet resort (seriously.. they have a pool) in New Jersey as well. I have even done volunteering at the wildlife rescue back in Austin. I love keeping every aspect of my life surrounded by animals, always have. I grew up with a dog, cats, a snake, parakeets, gerbils, a rat... my dad was thrilled I'm sure. But he always supported that love of animals. And now I can't wait to meet some new wiggle butts and go for adventures! I ultimately would love to get a little hiking group of dogs to check out all the trails! And with my experience in the vet world I can help with any special needs pets as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in client's homes as per their instructions. I won't do off leash walks just in case, but will play in fenced yards if that is what the client wants if a walk isn't enough.

Meredith was absolutely incredible! We were so excited to get her updates every day and could tell how genuinely she cared for our kitties. She was so sweet and responsive, and I felt that she went above and beyond in keeping me updated and informed while we were away. We will be asking her to watch our babies again for sure!
Meredith was great! She took fantastic care of Raja. She was kind, professional, and took extra steps to ensure she was taken care of. She's a wonderful sitter!
I cannot even rave enough about Meredith. We last minute had a family member back out of watching our 2 dogs and 2 cats for our 4 day vacation. Scrambling to find an alternative, we hit the internet and found Rover. Which led us to Meredith. She was able to care for our pets for all four days including walking, feeding, playing, and cleaning after them. She kept us updated everyday and sent photos of all of the babies. We will be booking again!

Schedule
I'm currently working in emergency ICU vet med on Fri/Sat/Sun. So I have all the free time mon-thurs for walks and drop ins. I can do drop ins before and after on my work days, keeping in mind that they are 13 hrs shifts from 7a-8p
