I’ve been working part time as a pet sitter for over 8 years in places such as Scotland, Washington, DC, North & South Carolina, Virginia, Spain and Utah! I’ve watched dogs, cats, dogs and cats together, it’s brought so much joy to my life. I work full time at an art nonprofit, so watching pets has always been a nice break from my day job. I live in Park City but able to commute within reason. I’ve watched pets that are a few months old up to senior care. I have overnight stay experience as well as the normal walking, feeding, cleanup experience. I’m here to help the best I can, whether it be playing, walking, cleanup, or just on the couch enjoying each other’s company! I’m attentive, responsive, and try to be a thorough communicator where needed! Skills: * Ability to work with animals and to remain calm in strenuous circumstances. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to follow instructions. * Excellent time management skills. * Ability to meet customers needs and provide necessary assistance.

When caring for a pet in the owner home, I treat it as if it was my home. It is imperative to be respectful of space, knowing that the owner trust me to do the best job with their pet, and their home. Keeping it clean, and caring for their pet as if it were my own is important!

We needed to leave our Airbnb in Park City for a weekend to attend a funeral for our loved one & Mercy was able to come stay the weekend with our 2 pups. She came over prior to staying to meet us all and get to know them. They were well taken care of and Mercy regularly sent updates and pictures so we were never worried. We can’t thank her enough for helping us feel comfortable during this unplanned time away.
Mercy is great! We can relax knowing she’s taking great care of Bo. Our Aussie can be a lot to handle, but Mercy never makes us worry that Bo is too much for her. Mercy is our go-to anytime we have travel plans.

Mercy is a wonderful dog walker! She has walked our two 13 year old dogs on several occasions and is reliable, patient and loving with them. Mercy is always enthusiastic and happy to see them, and they are always happy to see her! We recommend Mercy wholeheartedly!
Mercy watched our two mini golden doodles and cat while we went out of town last minute for one night. The animals loved her and the house was well looked after.

Schedule
As a pet sitter with a 9-5 job, I offer services before and after work hours, as well as during weekends. I also provide options for overnight stays or midday check-ins on Thursday & Friday for clients who require additional care during the day. Flexibility and clear communication with clients regarding my availability will be key in accommodating your needs whilst balancing my schedule.
