I work part time and attend two classes per week. My work is very flexible and I have plenty of leeway for adjustments to my hours. I am willing and capable to work around a schedule.

Information Mercy L. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to get to know the dogs prior to being their caregiver. It’s a priority to know their schedule for bathroom breaks and eating, gauge their activity level, and observe any habits or behaviors to keep an eye on.
A typical day
I am a big cuddler, so any and all pets can anticipate lots of petting and affection (as long as they’re comfortable with it). Playing around and keeping them stimulated is equally as important, and I just so happen to love it when their cute faces are excited!

Pet care experience
I’ve spent my whole life around animals, from feeding cows watermelon rind to bottle feeding kittens. My “years of experience” is based in terms of paid pet sitting experience. I have two consistent family friends who employ me to care for their respective pets. One has a spoiled dog and the other has 7 pets of various ages, personalities, and needs. These 7 animals are 2 puppies, 1 senior dog with a chronic cough, 1 big dog with anxiety, 1 cat with a backwards leg, and 2 tortoises. Having cared for these animals, I am quite capable of handling many animals at once and all sorts of responsibilities that come with that. Baths, cleaning messes, general household maintenance, frequent pet bathroom trips, giving medical attention/medication, feeding multiple pets at once, adhering to a schedule, and keeping up with energetic activities are all things I am well versed in.

Mercy was super helpful and took great care of my dog. She gave meds and followed all other instructions to a “t”. Mercy reached out when she had questions. Would definitely use her again!
Mercy went above and beyond caring for our 3 animals. They spent time with BMO (who is a lovebird) reading to him and making sure he stays social while we were away. They gave lots of attention to our very needy cat who loves all the attention from everyone. They made sure to check in with our elderly cat to make sure she was OK while we were away because she gets stressed. I highly recommend Mercy for your pet care needs, and we will be using them again.
Our dogs and cat hit it off with Mercy at the meet and greet before the actual date Mercy started watching them. She paid attention to all specific requests about the dogs. She stayed at our house over the weekend with our pets and did a great job! We appreciated the picture and video updates she sent us and she was very good at communicating. We came home to happy, healthy pets and she left the house very tidy. We definitely would check with Mercy in the future if we need to leave our pets again!
I met Merci thru her Mom who was a family members Nurse for the past two years. Mercy has since taken care of my dog twice in my home. Once for 3 days and recently for 7 days I completely trust Mercy in my home. Also, she took excellent care of my Boston Terrior
