I’ve had animals my whole life. I’ve pet sit off and on for many years for friends, family and local Tennessee residents upon request. I’ve been on the Rover app since the beginning of this year. I have a soft spot in my heart for dachshunds. Growing up, we had two dachshunds, a miniature Doberman pincher, Dalmatians, rabbits, cats and birds at various times.

I’m only available to care for pets at the client’s home. I do not board pets at my own home. I prefer to pet sit in homes that are nice, clean and safe. Due to health reasons, I am only open to caring for pets in SMOKE-FREE homes (even if you only smoke outside). I always speak on the phone and then do an in-person meet-and-greet as soon as possible before booking.

Merci did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. She was very loving and sweet with them. She also sent a lot of videos and pictures to let us know how they were doing!
Merci was wonderful and trusting when it came to taking care of my dog. She would send me updates (which I loved) on how Argo was doing throughout the day. My dog absolutely loved her. Super kind, patient and very understanding when it came to my dog’s needs. Will definitely be using her again in the future if I need a dog sitter. Definitely recommending her to anyone who needs a dog sitter.

Merci was amazing to have sit our pup during our 5 day vacation. She sent pictures and videos throughout each day which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our baby was being well taken cared for. Her communication was great after a few days when our dog didn’t want to eat in the morning. She even offered to let us FaceTime. She left our home clean and I will definitely be asking Merci again to sit for us.

Merci is easy to get along with and I was comfortable with her watching my dog at home while I traveled for two and a half days. She sent plenty of pictures and videos and adapted to whatever my dog was normally used to including snuggling right up in bed. He’s a big gentle baby and very sensitive and Merci immediately understood his personality well and took great care of him. I would highly recommend her and plan to use her again in April if she can make the dates.

Schedule
I currently work in the healthcare industry M-F 9-5. I’m in the office two days a week in downtown Nashville for about half the day, mostly on Mondays and Wednesdays. The rest is work from home. I’m off work nights and weekends. I’m pet sitting as a side hustle to help me save for my own home and because I love animals.
