It’s not crazy for your dog to be the light of your life. Or to want round the clock companionship for your sweet and sassy cat while you’re away. I get it and will make sure they’re deeply loved and cherished until you’re back home. Taking care of your sweet animals is my only job, and a vitally important one.

In addition to patience and nurturing, these are the ways I work hard to stand apart: I have earned the trust of a loyal clientele by communicating well, easing worries, and leaving your home clean. I have earned the hearts of the animals in my care by dedicating myself to fully understanding their needs. In addition to CPR and first aid, I have extensive training in holistic nutrition and animal communication. I enjoy sharing my plethora of great tips for calming anxious animals with anyone who asks, and am deeply enjoying learning more about naturopathic remedies and Jin Shin Jitsu (energetic healing practices) for animals.

Mercedes is the best! I’d never left my overprotective Pyr mix with anyone but family, and Mercedes really put my mind at ease while traveling out of state. She had great communication throughout her stay and took wonderful care of my 2 dogs. She went above and beyond to take care of our home and pups. Will definitely rebook with Mercedes!

Schedule
I am particularly fond of Velcro dogs and cats and am all too happy sleeping beside them, and snuggling them as much as possible. I love taking walks and spending as much time outside as possible with them as well. I am also well skilled at calming nervous or traumatized animals.
