Availability
My schedule is highly flexible, and I’m available for bookings throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and many last-minute requests when available. I’m open to traveling to different areas for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or pet care services, and I do my best to accommodate each owner’s individual schedule and routine. Whether you need recurring care, occasional help, early morning walks, late-night check-ins, or a simple outing for your pup during the day, I strive to provide dependable and consistent availability that works for both you and your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, consistency, and clear communication are extremely important to me when caring for someone else’s dog. While I do not currently offer in-home boarding at my own residence, I am available to provide care in your home or meet at an agreed-upon public location for exchanges, walks, drop-offs, or pick-ups. I have experience handling flight risk, anxious, reactive, and highly excitable dogs, and I take leash security, environmental awareness, and proper handling very seriously. I am confident in my ability to safely manage dogs in a variety of situations while minimizing stress and maintaining control. I also strongly believe in respecting and maintaining any structure, rules, routines, training expectations, or management systems that are already established for your dog, helping create a more comfortable and consistent experience for both you and your pup.
Information Mercedes T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know anything special or specific about your pup! What are their favorite games, snacks, or scratch spots? Are they accident prone, allergic to anything, have recurring harmful habits? Are they reactive, aggressive, or just excitable? Any particular quirks I should know about or anything I should keep you in the loop on? Anything at all please let me know!
A typical day
My favorite thing to do is take pups for walks! The great outdoors is where it’s at—the absolute best is a hike in the woods in my opinion. Nothing beats the mental and physical exercise of smelling new smells and seeing new sights! Alas, I also adore playing brain games with them and even fetch or tag around the yard. If they have a favorite game, please let me know!

Professional, Reliable Pet Care
Pet care experience
I’m a professional dog trainer with hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — including high-drive working breeds like Belgian Malinois. My background includes obedience training, behavior work, leash handling, structure building, and maintaining training consistency in real-world environments. I’m comfortable handling strong pullers, reactive tendencies, high-energy dogs, intact dogs, and dogs that require clear communication and routine. I’m also comfortable using and handling any training tools your dog has already been properly conditioned to or currently uses, including prong collars, ecollars, slip leads, long lines, and other training equipment. In addition, I can administer medications as directed and follow specific care routines to ensure your dog stays comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog needs structured exercise, reinforcement of existing training, dependable overnight care, or simply a fun, casual outing and extra attention, I prioritize safety, consistency, and individualized care for every dog in my care.
Reviews
I have had the pleasure of having Mercedes take care of and train my two dogs. She worked with them for three months, and in those three months she took wonderful care of them. She is a caring and responsible person when it comes to caring for your dog, or any animal. She makes sure their needs are met as well as giving them a little extra loving too. Mercedes is a very upfront person; she will let you know everything that is expected and everything that is happening with your pet. She knows, as a pet owner herself, that sometimes issues come up out of our control, but she is very resilient at controlling or correcting the situation. I would highly recommend Mercedes to care for any animal that you may want some extra care and affection given to. You and your pet will be very happy with her.
