Mercedes was amazing with my four kitties - she managed the full house expertly. In addition to making sure they were physically taken care of, she loved the kitties (and they loved her). I was away frequently, but knowing my cats were in great hands made it so much easier. She's also able to administer medication confidently - one of my kitties has hyperthyroidism and needs a pill twice a day (and sometimes gets stubborn about taking it) - she handled the sometimes-frustrating process easily. Mercedes is also great in a crisis and very reliable. When one of my kitties was acting abnormally while I was abroad, she let me know quickly, and we were able to figure out an emergency vet plan and get the situation resolved quickly and in such a way that I didn't feel like I needed to rush home. And last year, my sister was in a serious car accident while I was away for Thanksgiving; what started as a quick week away turned into six, but Mercedes was so flexible and accommodating, and it was such a relief having one less thing to worry about.
