I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats, and today I’m the proud dog mom to Leo, my 4 month old Siberian Husky. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I have several years of experience house sitting and caring for pets while families are away. I previously worked as a nanny for a family and was also responsible for caring for their energetic Labrador, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure he received plenty of attention and exercise. That experience made me very comfortable handling large, high energy dogs. I also regularly care for my dad’s 3 year old German Shepherd/Husky, Luna, and have house sat for them on numerous occasions. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to providing reliable care so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and dependable hands.

I prefer to care for pets in their own home or take them on walks around their neighborhood, as I currently have my own young puppy at home. I find that pets are most comfortable and relaxed when they’re able to stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, consistent experience that mirrors their usual schedule. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning if needed, exercise, playtime, and plenty of companionship and attention based on each pet’s personality and comfort level. If in the future, it works out to where our animals get along with each other, I would not mind making a special arrangements to care for your animal at my home. For dogs, I enjoy structured walks around their neighborhood so they can feel secure in familiar surroundings while still getting the exercise and enrichment they need. For cats and other pets, I make sure their environment stays clean, calm, and stress-free while they receive attentive care. My goal is always to provide reliable, in home care that keeps pets comfortable and helps owners feel confident while they’re away.

Mercede would be the perfect person for anyone looking for a dog walker/pet sitter. First of all she loves animals, she treats her pets as if they were her children. We have a German Shepard/Husky named Luna and Mercede has watched her many times while we have been out of town. Luna LOVES her. Mercede is so sweet, and you can tell immediately that she will care for your pet as her own. Anyone would be so lucky to have Mercede!
Mercede is an absolute animal lover and in particular loves dogs. She is patient with animals and when she takes care of our Luna (a female German Shepard/Husky) I feel that she pays more attention to her and her well being than I do. Our dog absolutely adores her and that is what's the most important thing for us. Mercede is also very responsible and on time. She is great to work with.

Schedule
I currently have a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, which allows me to easily accommodate pet care visits, walks, and check ins throughout the day. This flexibility means I can tailor my availability to each pet’s needs, whether that’s morning feedings, midday drop-ins, or evening care. Because of this open schedule, I’m able to give pets consistent attention and stick closely to their normal routines, which helps them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m also able to adjust my day as needed to ensure reliable timing for feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. Pet care naturally fits into my routine, and I prioritize it as a meaningful part of my week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so incorporating visits and care throughout my day feels seamless and rewarding.
