Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any special needs or preferences they may have. I like to understand their personality, energy level, and how they usually react to new people or environments. It’s also helpful to know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, or health concerns, as well as their comfort level with other pets. For dogs, I appreciate knowing their walking habits, training cues, and any behaviors to watch for. For cats, knowing their litter box routine, favorite hiding spots, and play preferences is very helpful.

A typical day with the pets I care for is calm, structured, and focused on their comfort and happiness. I start the day with feeding, fresh water, and a quick health and mood check to make sure they’re feeling good.
