I’ve had over a decade of hands-on experience caring for high-energy and large breeds, from growing up with active dogs to now raising and training my own Vizsla. I understand intelligent, driven dogs who need more than a quick walk. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience, leash manners, and structured routines during walks. I focus on calm, consistent handling and mental engagement — not just physical exercise. I also enjoy working with puppies who are building foundational skills, as well as senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and attentive care. Every walk is adapted to your dog’s age, personality, and energy level. Clear communication and photo updates are always included.

Safety and attentiveness come first. I prioritize leash safety, awareness of surroundings, and reading each dog’s body language. I follow your dog’s routine closely — feeding, water, training cues, and preferred routes. I’m experienced with high-energy breeds and understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Clear communication and photo updates are always included.

Meltem is someone who truly loves animals. She has had a dog for many years, and I have personally seen how she cares for it like her own child. Dear Rover, I met Meltem P in the dog park about two years ago. She is first of all a sweetheart. Meltem P knows the names of every dog in the park, which is a lot of names. The dogs too, know she is a kind, caring person because they all go to her and congregate around her, much to the annoyance, at times, of her dog Alfie. Meltem loves dogs and likes being around dogs. Schedule
I structure my days around dog care, so walks are never rushed. I’m available for weekday and weekend walks in Manhattan, with flexible mid-day and afternoon availability. I already walk my own high-energy Vizsla daily, so long, active walks are part of my routine. I’m especially happy to support busy professionals who need consistent, reliable exercise for their dogs.
