Responsible Pup & Kitty Lover
I have two 8 y/o kitties named Nacho & Largo and a one y/o Cavapoo puppy named Enzo. I’ve had Nacho and Largo since they were kittens, and Enzo joined us last year. Beyond my own three, I’ve fostered several kittens and older cats over the past few years, so I’m used to adapting to different temperaments and needs. My husband & I take Enzo to the dog park most days, which means I’m reliable with walks and used to managing pets who have regular routines. Honestly, I’m doing this because I love having animal companions around! I’m looking for pets to walk with or just hang out and play. If that means a new friend for my crew or a regular buddy for adventures, I’m in. Can’t wait to meet your lovely one (or two, or three, or more lol)!

Safety, trust & environment
For drop-in visits at your home, I respect your cat’s space & routine. I don’t rearrange things or stay longer than needed unless your cat is clearly enjoying the interaction. I come in quietly, let them approach me on their terms, and focus on what you’ve told me they like (playtime, treats, just company). I always check that doors and windows are secure before I leave. I’ll text you updates if you want them, especially if I notice anything off. A cat not eating, acting unusually quiet, or anything that seems worth mentioning. I pay attention. With my own pets (8-year-olds, 1-year-old, and fosters), I’ve learned that consistency matters. Same person, same time, same approach. That builds trust with animals. I keep everything clean. Wash my hands between visits, don’t track mess in, and follow your specific instructions about what’s off-limits, handling, medication, etc. Your home is your cat’s territory. I treat it that way.

Melody watched my pups, Nacho and Buddy, in her home when I had to quickly leave to another state to take care of my ill father. She sent daily videos and updates which me and my father loved. I knew my dogs were in good hands. They were walked 2x/day, ate the food I gave Melody and had tons of fun time. Nacho and Buddy were actually a bit sad for a few days after I picked them up from Melody’s home because they had so much fun and felt loved/safe. I recommend Melody to anyone who wants a loving and responsible person to care for their animal.
I have known Melody for 5 years and she has taken care of my dog Pumpkin many times. She always provides excellent care and my dog absolutely adores her. Melody genuinely loves animals and is a fantastic pet owner herself. If you're looking for someone reliable, professional, and conscientious to look after your pet, I recommend her without hesitation.

Schedule
I finish work around 3:30 PM, and are around most weekends. If you wish to have a dropping visit in the morning or in the middle of the day, that can be arranged as well.

- Tell me everything upfront. If your dog has anxiety, reactivity, mobility issues, dietary needs, or behavioral quirks, I want to know so I can set them up to succeed. I’ve worked with lots of different dogs and temperaments. I’m used to reading body language and adjusting on the fly. Also let me know if they have any training cues I should reinforce or if there’s anything they’re scared of. The more context you give me, the better I can care for them.
