I recently graduated from UCSB and am applying to graduate school now! I work in the evenings mostly so I’m very available for morning walks or house sitting if necessary :)

In my home I make sure my pets are well loved and cared for as well as engaged with. Wether it’s outdoor dogs, indoor dogs with house rules, a walking schedule or feeding routine I’m here for it :) I’m not afraid to ask questions if I’m unsure of something either.
Information Melody H. would like to know about your pet
Its important to how how they interact with other dogs, any known allergies (I know some dogs do), behavior when bathing or feeding, and any injuries or disabilities they might have.
A typical day
I love going on walks myself so I’m sure dogs live for them! I’d love to take them to parks, hikes (difficult or easy), beach walks (then baths), fetch, and I’d love to do those enrichment activities for dogs minds.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of both big and small dogs since I was around 8… feeding, walking, bathing, picking up poop… you name it. I know each person has particular methods and/or routines and I am more then happy to accommodate.

Melody was wonderful. She took excellent care of our house, kept it clean, the mail taken in, packages collected, garbage taken out, geko & snake watered, etc. as we asked. Her primary job was to take care of Olive and she did a fabulous job loving her and keeping her occupied. We received photos every day! Melody is very easy to get along with, communicates very well well, and pays attention to details. Highly recommended, we won't hesitate to ask her to sit with Olive in the future. Thank you!
Melody is a very friendly and respectful person. She is responsible and puts 100% effort in to every task that she sets her mind to. I have seen her interact with my friends dogs in a very loving and caring way. She is trustworthy and would be a great person to take care of your dogs.
Melody is an amazing animal integrator. Meaning she can connect to the Spirit of the animal. She has interacted with dogs cats horses rabbits and birds. She has a calming soul that immediately affects the soul of the animals, and you can see their reaction in their demeanor, which becomes calm, trusting, and welcoming. Her ability to connect is a natural gift and any animal shelter or dog/horse/animal facility would be lucky to have her calm presence.
