Your pet's favorite vacation home!
Hey there! We are excited to host your loved one 🐶 Animals make the world a better place! They truly are ✨family✨. We both grew up caring for all kinds of animals. But our favorite of course are dogs. 😊 We currently have a small dog (Bella) who is our everything and who we absolutely adore and spoil. She gets along well with all other dogs. We can cater to all the different personalities and needs. Please let us know what makes your dog relaxed and comfortable so we can make sure they are as happy as can be away from their pawrents, as well as their routine isn’t altered too much. We understand that finding someone you can trust with your baby(s) can be a difficult process. We want to make this decision as easy and stress free as possible for you, in order for you to rest assured that your pet will be cared for. We’d be happy to do a meet and greet if you prefer as well. We send daily pictures/videos so you can see how they’re doing. Can’t wait to spoil your pup! 😊 🐾 -Melody and Gustavo

I would highly highly recommend Melody and Gustavo. They took such great care of Indie over the weekend. Sent loads of pictures and took him on lots of walks. I will definitely be using their services in the future.
Melody and Gustavo are the best! So sweet and accommodating to my puppy. They send lots of check-in pics/videos, and are very responsible and responsive. Highly recommend. :)
Thank you for all you’ve done in taking care of Willie! For taking him to vet when he wasn’t feeling well, dropping him off at our home at the end of his stay, and putting up with him when he wasn’t himself with his pain. We would love to have you watch him again whenever we travel again. He misses you already!
We felt completely comfortable leaving our Zuzu with Melody and Gustavo. Melody kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, and it was clear Zuzu felt right at home. Having Bella there for Zuzu to play with was such a bonus! It made our trip so much better knowing she was in great hands. Zuzu has truly found her second home, and we would gladly board her with Melody and Gustavo again
Definitely the best dog sitting experiences I’ve had. I feel like my picked my dog up from summer camp! I can’t recommend Melody and Gustavo more!

Schedule
We both work from home so for the most part, there will always be someone with your dog. Plus, Bella will always keep them company. If you’re OK with us taking your dog on errands with us in the car we’re happy to do that as well. If we need to leave, for some reason, it will be no more than a few hours at a time and not very frequent. Throughout the day, we take lots of breaks from work to play with toys, tug-of-war, and of course, to go on walks.

We also have a small fenced backyard, and usually leave the door cracked open in order for the pups to go outside whenever they want.

A typical day
We live in the heart of Pacific Beach, two minutes from the famous huge Kate Sessions park, (that we frequent almost every day), as well as 5 minutes from the beach. We also have a nice neighborhood to take walks. Whatever your dog enjoys, we will do. Also during the weekends we are very active and enjoy going on hikes and doing other things out and about. But, if your dog is more on the easy going side, and just enjoys walks and cuddles, we are happy to do that as well. Please bring his/her favorite toys/treats, although we also have plenty.
