Pet care experience
I have taken care of many dogs throughout my life. I have two big furry friends of my own and a small furry friend, a cat named Alice. I have experience in house sitting for older dogs who need medication at certain times and special care. No animal is too big or too old for me! :)

Melody stayed with our pittie and cat over Fourth of July weekend. Everything was wonderful, she’s a fantastic house guest, and Toad (our pittie) was very sad when she left ❤️ he was felt very safe through the fireworks with her
Melody did a great job animal sitting my old dog and three cats while I was away in Europe. She stayed at the house with them which was less stressful for them. My old dog has seizures and has to have medication at a certain time every day. She was dependable and compassionate. Highly recommend Melody!

For sure, getting to know each dog and cat's unique personality and needs is so important when caring for them. It's key to find out if they're on any medications that require special handling or have any health issues to be aware of. Same goes for high energy dogs that may need extra exercise and activities to stay stimulated. Taking the time to really understand their individual quirks allows me to tailor my care and give them the customized attention they deserve. That personal approach makes all the difference in keeping them happy, healthy fur babies!
A typical day
Wake up and feed the pups and kitties, then it's playtime! Tug-of-war and fetch for the dogs, laser pointers and dangly toys for the cats. After cleaning their spaces, take the dogs on walks or to the dog park. Set up food puzzles to keep the cats entertained. End the day with belly rubs and treats for being such good fur babies!
