My schedule is currently fairly open. During the school year I will have to shuttle the kids to and from school but I have openings to care for your pets for most of the rest of the day!

I prefer to care for your pets in your home environment, where they already feel safe, and secure. I try my best to stick as closely as possible to the routine that they're used to, but may have to deviate slightly depending on circumstances. I am comfortable administering medications if necessary, and I will happily help with not just your domestic pets like dogs and cats, but your livestock pets like chickens, ect, and even exotics like reptiles.

As a young kid I was the one who brought home every disheveled stray and nursed them back to health. I've cared for animals of every kind from dogs, and cats to frogs and snakes (and even tarantulas!). I spent my childhood training dogs in 4-h, and have previously worked as a veterinary technician, a bather, a pet sitter (including exotic animals), and a sales associate for a pet store, I've fostered countless dogs and cats (including whole litters of puppies!), I've even helped run a non profit animal educational outreach program.

I will have to say that Melody is conscientious and reliable for your pet care. She has worked with my animals for the past 5 years. Although I have reptiles Melody has fostered puppies and has dogs and cats of her own. I am sure you will be happy with her service.
Melody is an avid animal lover, a previous vet-tech and has work with many animals (and has extensive knowledge of reptiles and other exotic pets) professionally for many many years. I have entrusted Melody many times to take care of my dog Kai, my cat Xerxes as well as my snake Ori and was always incredibly pleased with her care. Melody's extensive background in animal care was evident in the way she interacted with my dog and the attention to detail she displayed. She took the time to ask detailed questions about his routine, dietary requirements, exercise preferences, and any other important considerations. Her understanding of animal behavior and health ensured that my dog's unique needs were met (my poor Kai has a lot of allergy issues and abandonment anxiety issues since he is a rescue). Melody's expertise in handling animals of all kinds, including exotics and reptiles, was a tremendous asset since I also have a snake as well that she can keep an eye on while I am away. Whenever she would pet sit for me, she kept me regularly updated with pictures, videos, and detailed messages about my animal's activities and well-being. It was reassuring to know that she was actively engaged with my pet and willing to go the extra mile to provide a stress-free experience. Words truly can't describe what an incredible partner Melody is in animal care. She has such a profound love for all animals and has the knowledge and expertise to provide them with exceptional care. I will undoubtedly keep entrusting her for all of my animal's care in the future and will rest easy knowing they're in the best possible hands.
Melody is the most knowledgeable, responsible, and compassionate animal person I have ever met. She is detail-oriented and cares about the overall health and wellbeing of every living being in her care first and foremost. She trained me in one of my current ongoing animal care jobs, and I am always struck by her ongoing commitment to animal welfare and her wealth of knowledge. She is also thorough and leaves each space cleaner and more neat than how she found it.
I have known Melody for about 12 years. We met while we were fostering dogs for a local rescue group. Melody would get the dogs that needed extra work to get adopted and she would get them turned around and adopted. I am the founder and Director of my own dog rescue now and Melody is now fostering dogs for us. We can always count on her puppies knowing basic commands, crate and leash trained, and are well loved and taken care of. Melody is a HUGE animal lover and has more then just cats and dogs as pets. I am very picky when it comes to the dogs and puppies that we have here in the rescue and I have no issue leaving them in Melody's care
