When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I have experience staying in other people’s homes for extended periods, including multiple weeks and over a month, while providing consistent and loving care for their pets. I come prepared with my own pillow, blanket, and meals so I can be fully self-sufficient while respecting your home. Before an extended stay, I would love to meet you and your pets at least twice to build trust, learn their routine, and understand their unique needs. I’m experienced with administering oral medications and caring for pets with additional needs. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable and stress-free by following their normal routine, providing regular updates, and giving them the same love and attention I give my own.

I’ve been caring for animals since I was a preteen, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with three large dogs and a cat, and today I’m a proud cat mom to my playful orange tabby, Mr. Binx. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My experience includes energetic puppies who need plenty of exercise and patience, large and small breed dogs, as well as senior dogs who require consistent routines, early morning walks, and timely medication. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions to ensure every pet stays happy, healthy, and on schedule. I’m equally experienced with cats, from shy or grumpy kitties who need a calm, gentle approach to affectionate companions who love attention. I’ve also cared for senior cats who require medication, regular litter box monitoring, and extra patience and comfort. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you’re away—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, dependable hands.

I highly recommend Melodi to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy pet sitter! She took amazing care of my three dogs and treated them like they were her own. She was incredibly attentive to their individual needs, made sure they were fed on schedule, and gave them their medications right on time. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care and never had to worry while I was away. It’s not easy finding someone I trust with all three of my dogs, but she went above and beyond and gave me complete peace of mind. I will absolutely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter!
Melodi has watched my pets for me while I was out of town a few times! I have two cats and a young dog that Melodi would watch and take care of for me. Sometimes it would be a weekend or longer, she also has done me a solid by stopping by the house to let the dog out and making sure everyone was taken care of when I was gone for an all day event. Melodi would walk and play with my dog, feed them and the cats and provide good lovings to everyone. I always came home to a clean house after Melodi was there and would recommend her to anybody.
My husband and I have 3 cats and 1 dog. We had Melodi pet/house sit for us from December 7th - January 10th and she was awesome! She did great with the pets they loved her. She made sure they were all fed and watered everyday. She took our dog out for walks regularly and changed the litter boxes on time. She was nice and easy to talk to and get ahold of even during the holiday season. We came home to our house as we had left it and happy pets 😌 We really could not have asked for a better sitter!
