I've grown up with animals since I was 8 years old and have lots of experience with animals of all sizes, from pet rats to 120-lb German Shepherds! There are those who love animals, and those who REALLY REALLY love animals, and I definitely fall in the latter camp. I have experience volunteering at rescue farms and fostering for animal shelters; I've started a GoFundMe to save a dog from Korea's dog meat trade (who was then flown to the US to unite with his forever family); and I was able to find a loving home for another dog who was at high risk of being euthanized at a shelter. I have an infinite amount of love for our furry friends and find so much fulfillment in being able to care for them. I understand the sacred nature of the unique bond we all share with our pets and will do everything in my power to give you peace of mind when you leave them in my care. It's a level of trust and privilege I regard highly and hold very dear.

I care for pets with compassion, attentiveness, patience, and diligence. I am highly attuned to the emotional and behavioral cues of animals so I'll be quick to notice if they need something. I'm also very detail-oriented, so if you have any specific requests or instructions, I'll make sure to follow them to a tee.

Mellania has pet sit for us before - this time we asked her to also watch our son’s 1-year old dog who can be quite a bit to handle. She did amazing. She is calm, firm with commands, and ensures all pets are safe and happy. We have a high level of trust with Mellania!
Mellania is the best! She is great with my cat and goes above and beyond to ensure he is taken care of when I’m away. Great pet sitter!

I work from home and create my own schedule so I have lots of flexibility as long as I can plan my days out a few days in advance.
