I’m a full time dog walker based out the Palmer area! My business is called Valley Dog Treks. I do pet sitting as well and my pup Cedar and I would love to meet up with you to see if we are a good fit!! Because my boyfriend is a wildland firefighter, I am solely in charge of Cedar so he does have to come along for all my walks and petsitting. He is super friendly and wants to make friends with every dog he meets, I’d love to set up a meet up.

A typical day
I love getting to know your dogs and cats and seeing what makes them the happiest, whether that’s unlimited belly rubs, lots of play time, walks or giving them space, whatever they are down for, I am too! However many walks you’d prefer us to go on we will and I love taking lots of pictures and video updates for you to be able to see how everything is going! if you are working on anything for training I can help to continue that on while you are away!

I’m Melissa! I run Valley Dog Treks and am a full time dog walker. I currently am only accepting clients who are looking for group walks. For my pack walks I have openings on M T W TH mid day. 3-6 pups in a pack, we ride in my Subaru Forester, I have a car hammock and 2-3 ruffland kennels depending on the groups needs. Dogs must be atleast 20lbs to join (best safety fit for my group), and be friendly.

Melissa is hands down the best! She deserves 100 stars. Down to communication, punctuality, kindness, she’s amazing. Melissa helped us out in a pinch and went above and beyond. She sends lots of updates and pictures and truly loves your pups like they’re her own. Our dogs are definitely missing her and cedar after they house/dog sat for us for a week. We will use her time and time again.
