I’m a full time dog walker based out the Palmer area! My business is called Valley Dog Treks. My goldendoodle pup Cedar and I would love to meet up with you to see if we are a good fit!! These 1 hour group walks take place Monday-Thursday in my 11am-2pm time slot. If you think your pup(s) would be a good fit and are within my radius (shown in my photos) message me to set up a meet and greet and we can see if it would be a good fit.

Pack walks are fully fenced. Includes transport to and from your home, so I will leash your pup up before leaving your house, and then they will ride in either my Ruffland kennels or the car hammock in my backseat. I leash up all the pups in the car hammock before opening any doors at the field and then leash dogs in the back kennels, and we all enter the fenced field together. I have been full for the past 6 months and haven’t been able to take on new clients, so I am so excited to get to add a few pups to the pack!

Walks at the field include initial sniff and potty breaks, then structured walk time, working on heeling for short amounts of time, and free play time. I love taking lots of pictures and video updates for you to be able to see how everything is going! The goal for walks is not chaos, so if play gets too crazy we will settle everybody down. have a reset, focus on intentional walking again, and then let everyone have their playtime again. We have access to water at the field, shade under a deck and along some of the sides where there are trees, along with kiddie pools, and a large herding ball.

I’m Melissa! I run Valley Dog Treks and am a full time dog walker. I currently am only accepting clients who are looking for group walks. For my pack walks I have openings on M T W TH mid day. Small groups of 3-6 pups in a pack, we ride in my Subaru Forester, I have a car hammock and 2-3 ruffland kennels depending on the groups needs. Dogs must be atleast 25lbs to join, and be friendly.

Simply the best! Melissa goes above and beyond, walking the dogs a little longer, giving them extra snuggles and attention, even bringing them treats from her CEO Cedar! She truly knows the dogs and their personalities, we love working with someone who loves our dogs, and is clearly pursuing her passion in this work.

Melissa is hands down the best! She deserves 100 stars. Down to communication, punctuality, kindness, she’s amazing. Melissa helped us out in a pinch and went above and beyond. She sends lots of updates and pictures and truly loves your pups like they’re her own. Our dogs are definitely missing her and cedar after they house/dog sat for us for a week. We will use her time and time again.
