I would like to know the dog's likes, dislikes, and fears. If the dog has any health problems or sensitive areas. If the dog is protective of food, bones, or toys. If the dog is allowed treats and if they have any allergies. How is the dog with other dogs and children. I don't have children in my home but I do have grandchildren that visit.
A typical day
I walk dogs in my neighborhood. There are also several walking trails close by I like to use as long as the dogs are happy to take a car ride. We have a number of toys for tug play and fetch.

I have been a pet owner since childhood. As an adult I have had service dog training through CARES Inc. in Concordia, Kansas and obedience training for the dogs I own through the YMCA in Concord, NH. My dogs are well socialized and good with dogs and people. I have cared for dogs and cats for friends in their homes and my own. I enjoy taking care of animals and watching them play. I have been married 35 years and my husband and I have raised 6 children together. My adult children often bring their fur babies when they visit. I am responsible, dependable, and honest. I can provide references upon request for both dog sitting and employment. I have added 2 fenced areas to my yard.

We had a wonderful experience with Melissa as our dog sitter. From the outset, she was incredibly diligent, asking thorough questions to ensure she understood the needs and routines of our dogs. While we were away, her updates were detailed and reassuring, making us feel secure that our pets were in good hands. Melissa managed to keep our energetic puppy, Wally, entertained and under control, and she provided our older dog, Lucy, with the comfort and calm she needed. We truly appreciated her professionalism and genuine care for our dogs. We would definitely trust Melissa to look after our pets again and highly recommend her services to other pet owners looking for peace of mind while they're away.
We hadn't required Melissa (Rover) for quite a while and our pup didn't remember her, but Melissa worked with her beautifully until our pup warmed up to her. Will always use Melissa!
