I’m currently working part-time (I’m wanting to transition to fully taking care of pets!) so I have plenty of time for your babies. My boyfriend works from home so we will both be at home most of the day!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or special care instructions. I have personal experience with my own animals of administering oral medications including pills and liquids, and also starting an IV on a 5lb dog.
A typical day
While I don’t have a backyard, there is a gorgeous park with a walking trail right across the street from my house, and lots of grassy-lined streets for all of the good sniffs! There are also multiple dog-friendly coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance that love dogs and offer great stimulation!

Pet care experience
For my entire life, I have been entrenched in saving and taking care of animals! I fostered kittens for six years and I also helped my dad foster wild baby bunnies for two years. I have always been known as the person in the neighborhood to go to when there is an animal issue because everyone knows I love them and will always handle it! I just lost my sweet baby Ella (chihuahua/yorkie mix) back in March after 14 wonderful years, and while I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog into my personal life, I’m looking forward to filling my days with the joy of being around other dogs!

Melissa was excellent! She was responsive, great at sharing updates throughout the day, and flexible when needed. My puppy Mocha had the best time & lots of short walks & play throughout the day to get her energy out! I would book again 100%!
Melissa was awesome with my furbaby Charlie . I was so nervous leaving him on his first day but she did an amazing job keeping me posted with lots of pictures. Charlie was happy to see her each morning at drop-off. I highly recommend Melissa as a dog sitter .
Melissa has always been an animal lover! She's had many pets throughout her life but she is especially fond of dogs. I pay her to wash my dog every two weeks and she always does a great job. She takes great care of her own dog and is always willing to take care of friend's and family's dogs as well. She's a very responsible and loving dog owner and caregiver!
