Hello! My name is Melissa. I work part time at a Pet Resort and Hotel, so I have LOTS of experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I have three dogs of my own and one of our favorite things to do is go hiking through different forest preserves in the area. We’d be happy to bring your pup along. I love walking and playing with dogs, running and cuddling. I am very active and outgoing. I love spending my time outside no matter what kind of weather we’re having. I have worked with all types of dogs and have become familiar with different cues dogs give off depending on how they’re feeling. I use this to care for each individual dog in a different at that will make them feel comfortable and safe as well as myself. I am very flexible. I will care for your dog like they are my own. I will work with you to make sure your fur-child gets the very best care that suits your needs and theirs. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about me or my services.

I can follow any instructions as requested to care for your fur-babies. I take into account my safety and theirs and would never put either of us in a dangerous situation. I would never let off lead during a walk, turn my back or be distracted. You can count on me to have their very best interest in mind.

Melissa was great with Buddy. She helped him feel comfortable while we were gone and went out of her way to keep him active. It didn't take long for Buddy to enjoy being with Melissa. She went above and beyond what we expected and she is part of our family now. Will definitely use Melissa again and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a house sitter that is reliable, trustworthy and exceptional.

Melissa has watched my 3 month old Siberian Husky a couple times now and she has been great. It’s been a breeze to book with her (even last minute stays) and I plan to continue having her watch pup while I’m away. Definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work my job Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Others days I might have things going on, but I’m very flexible. I am used to waking up very early so mornings are not a problem.
