Pet care experience
I have always been around dogs and I’m also a massive animal lover. I had a German Shepherd who I did previous training with. If you are currently training your dog, I can continue with this whilst they’re in my safe hands. I have experience walking dogs who are strong on the lead and who also may react to other dogs passing. I regularly look after my friends and family’s pets while they’re away and love having furry friends in my home with me. I have looked after both small and large breeds as well and puppies. I’m a trustworthy young lady and would treat your pet as though they are my own 🥰

Could not recommend Melissa highly enough! Our labradoodle is anxious with new people and new environments but she made him feel at home straight away and kept in touch with us several times which put our minds at ease. Edgar had plenty of exercise and affection - it was clear he was more than looked after! Will definitely be using Melissa as a dog sitter again!
Melissa and her partner took excellent care of Dottie while we were on vacation, and when we went for our initial meet and greet I could tell that they were going to get along perfectly. Dottie clearly had a grand time, me we received updates with photos and videos showing how relaxed and happy she was, which was just lovely. Melissa has really helped us out over the last few months. Our dog absolutely loves her and enjoys spending some overnight stays as well as her walkies. Melissa treats our dog with such care and devotion. We know our Bella is in safe hands which is so important as they are family 💗🐶

I have a large enclosed garden with high fences all around the garden which is only accessible by a high locked gate round the side. In the summer I’m able to leave my patio doors open confidently knowing dogs are safe so they can go in and out as they please. My home isn’t overlooked in any direction and so my garden is super secure. I’m lucky enough to live close by and in walking distance to fields, country parks and woodlands so your dogs can have the best walks possible. On weekends I am also flexible and enjoy getting my steps in. 🐾 I want to do my best to make pet owners as happy and comfortable as possible when leaving their dogs, if your pet has any special requirements please let me know. You are also more than welcome to meet with me ahead of your booking so you can feel confident that I’m the right person to look after your loved doggos 🫶🏼 a house visit is also ok too !

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play lots of games, check out the new smells in my area and explore woodlands, country parks and fields close by. If your pet has a favourite toy, bring it ! I will ensure to keep their stay as fun and like home as possible.

Availability
I flexibly work from home Mon- Fri so your dog will not be left alone and I will be available to walk them throughout the day if needed. I am active and love walking so will get their desired exercise. I am used to being up early meaning I’m available to walk your dog first thing. But I can also walk them on my lunch break and after work. However, if your needed anything different or less walking I’m happy to work around them to make them feel as comfortable as possible and keep them in a routine if they have one! 💞
