I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child, along with farm animals as I grew up on a farm. After I was married we had a period of time where we didn't have any animals for about 6-7 years due to the high cost of apartments pet fees. I now own my own house and have a neutered pure bred golden retriever and a spayed short haired domestic cat who looks to have some siamese in her.

I am so happy to have found Melissa. She has a back yard, toys, and children who all greatly enriched my dogs’ stay with them. I left my dogs for a whole month, and she sent me pictures of them every week. I am so happy that I chose to board with her.

Schedule
I work at the YMCA throughout the week during the school year it is just mornings I work and then I am home by noon or 1 pm. During the summer I work summer camp for the YMCA and I am out of the house for 8 hours.

I have a fenced in back yard. My dog is very excited to meet other pets. Everyone is his friend. My cat is a little more reserved but she does take after my dog.

A typical day
I would play fetch with your dog(s), keep away, tug a war and let them run around my backyard. If the were tired I would let them choose where they wanted to lay to rest even if that was cuddling up on the couch with me.
