Senior animals are my specialty!
I have always had pets and hold a special spot in my heart for senior animals ❤️ I currently volunteer to walk dogs in my neighborhood while their owners are at work. My skills include feeding, grooming, walking, giving medication, and creating a cozy and safe environment for your fur baby. When booking doggy daycare or boarding, my husband Michael is at home as well and can assist with care to ensure your pup is never left alone. This is ideal for separation anxiety.

Melissa did an excellent job housesitting our dog and three cats (including one diabetic cat). She sent detailed updates every day (including cute photos) and the pets and house were in great shape when we got back.

Professionally, I was a health care executive for over 20 years and transitioned to consulting work. After deciding life is too short, I now enjoy walking cute pups and snuggling with cuddly kitties ❤️ Personally, I have a husband and an 18 year old son. My schedule can get booked quickly but if you need care urgently and are not seeing availability on my calendar, please send me a message and I'll do my best to assist.

❤️ My goal is for your pet to be as safe and cared for as if he or she were my own. 📷 I'm happy to take pictures of your pet having a good time! 🐈 🐕 Please let me know what your pet prefers and if there are any treats they cannot eat. I always like to bring a little treat with me when I first meet an animal. 🌳 It's for the best if I don't take your dog to an off-leash park (for a lot of reasons). 🏡 I can care for animals at my house. It has a fenced backyard and is safe.

I love to pet and snuggle with animals and am an avid walker. I enjoy playing and making up fun games to keep everyone mentally stimulated. I have trained lots of dogs and would love to teach and practice with yours. If there's something that your pet likes to do, let's make sure we include it in the plan while you are away.
