I've been an optician for 7yrs and am studying to get special certification. I do work part time as an optician locally. The job is only few days a week from 9-4. With enough notice I can make changes in regards to scheduling. Besides that I love going to the river with my dog or am just as happy sitting on the couch.

I like a good schedule: something for me to follow, to know exactly what you expect and need. My dog and I walk in the mornings and after work or let out back on a lead, depending on weather. I am always outside with her. I take care of my cat litter everyday or every other. Swiffer everyday! I don't know how the litter travels everywhere!! Drives me nuts!

A typical day
Exercise is key. Playing catch and a nice walk. Cats need play time too and a good window to bird watch. Of course lots of pets and some treats!

Hello! My name is Melissa, and thanks for checking out my profile. Im new to Rover, but not animals care. I had a steady client, house sitting two dogs, but that is now too far away. Melissa was the perfect dogsitter. She followed our detailed dog-care instructions, sent cute pupdate photos, and kept us in the loop on both our dog and our house. She left the place cleaner than we left it and we could tell our dog had a great time. We will absolutely be using her again next time we leave town!
Melissa was prompt and communicative. It was clear our dog loved her and their walk together. Melissa followed our feeding schedule too, which was appreciated. We cannot recommend her enough!!
