Experienced with both young and older dogs and cats. I am very patient and loving with all animals and ensure play time is taken care of whether that means a long walk or playing fetch. Indoor animals need playtime as well and I can make sure we get the zoomies out!

I ensure doors are never left open whether that be the front/back door or cabinet doors. Especially if there are cleaning supplies or any other chemicals in said cabinets. I also ensure I am educated on what plants are not animal friendly and ensure those are put away in high places where animals cannot get to them. I ensure all water bowls are filled before I leave and that feedings/treat handouts are done. If there are any tote bags or any bags with handles, I make sure those are put away as well. Of course I make sure anything plastic or small that might be ingested is put away as well.

Arya’s first drop in visit with Melissa was a success! Melissa made a great first impression immediately, so leaving her with my fur baby didn’t make me feel so guilty. Her calm and sweet demeanor was exactly what I wanted in a cat sitter. I was pleasantly surprised to receive pictures of Arya looking content on the couch, it was a relief to see her look so relaxed with a new person. I’ll definitely be using Melissa again and was just so pleased I had to give her a shout out. Thank you Melissa!
Melissa did an outstanding job watching over my babbies while I was away for the weekend. Followed feeding instructions to a T and made sure their water bowl was always full. She kept me updated on all her visits. If y’all need someone to care for your cats while you’re away, I highly recommend Melissa!
Proud parent to two wonderful (but very skiddish) cats. Melissa was absolutely amazing with our cats every time we needed to leave town for a few days. We left detailed instructions for her and she followed them to the letter. My cats don't typically interact well with people they don't know but it was obvious Melissa has a lot of experience with cat behavior. She picks up really well on when to approach and when to give them space. She was also great at figuring out an engaging way to play with them so they were not bored. Aside from this, she is very reliable and communicative with us and was happy to update us while we were away. I highly recommend trusting her with your fur babies!
I have two adult cats who can be very overwhelmed with new people and tend to hide, but with Melissa’a calm demeanor she allows them to feel safe and cared for when I go out of town. Melissa is a true cat whisperer, so I absolutely trust her with my pets. Having someone like her come to my house to care for my pets while I travel gives me one less thing to worry about!

Programa
I work from home 3 days a week and have a pretty standard work schedule. I am free on weekends. I can do long walks with your furry friend as well as house sit. I will ensure all their needs are met if I happen to be watching them on a day that I am not in the office. I have a very leisure schedule so there is lots of time for play time and walks.
