Hi, I’m Melissa – A Lifelong Animal Lover with a Personal Touch Growing up with animals taught me early on how to understand and care for pets with love, patience, and respect. Over the years, I’ve rescued, trained, and nurtured countless fur babies. I treat your pets like family because that’s what they deserve. We specialize in providing one on one attention by only hosting one dog at a time (or siblings from the same home), so your pet gets a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and happy. We believe in positive reinforcement, mental stimulation, and physical activity especially with the beach nearby for fun walks and playtime. I also bake healthy homemade treats and often add a little pet spa love for extra pampering. Your pet may even learn a new trick or two! I treat all the fur babies as if they were my own child or pet. I follow their schedule and give them my undivided attention and do lots of playing! We go get our walks or smelly’s. 🐶

Melissa is a true dog lover and takes care of your pet like her own. She is very communicative and sends lots of pictures and videos. She makes the dogs healthy treats and gets them plenty of exercise. I would definitely recommend Melissa for dog sitting services!
Amazing Sitter! Melissa was a perfect fit for my anxious pup. He has a tendency to bark and get a little nervous with changes in environment and around other dogs while I'm public but, Melissa's attentive nature and experience with animals made for an easy experience for Ziggy. She was very communicative and made us feel at ease leaving him in her care. I would highly recommend Melissa as a sitter for your baby and would absolutely book again.
Melissa was great with our little dog. The update videos and pics went a long way to making us feel comfortable with how Fresco was doing. She even made herself available for a meetup beforehand to make sure it was a good fit. Would book again.

Melissa was great with my Hula bear (English bulldog)! ☺️ It was my 1st time using Rover and I was definitely nervous about it because I’ve never had anyone else watch my Hula other than my family. We had a meet and greet prior to Hula 1st overnight stay and Melissa answered any questions I had. When I dropped off Hula, it took a little bit of time for her to be comfortable with Melissa, but as the day went by Melissa sent me pictures of her and Hula becoming buddies by the end of the day. ☺️ Thanks Melissa for easing me into this Rover process and knowing Hula was well taken care of! I definitely would recommend Melissa and have her sit again.

Schedule
I have a small business from home, so the flexibility is there. I make pet products as well as homemade products so I set my own hours.

- I really appreciate when the parents let me know all about their fur baby. Then I am able to accommodate them accordingly. Meet and greets help us both feel comfortable. I want you to feel 100% comfortable with me and my home. Entrusting your fur baby with me is essential. That is why I may overload you with pics and videos. I want you to feel relaxed and assured that you picked the right person. ❤️
