I have had 8 years of experience dog sitting, hosting, walking and staying at others homes for dog sitting. I love dogs and as I think cats are cute, I am allergic and unfortunately cannot watch them. I love dogs of all sizes and ages! I love boys or girls! I enjoy going on car rides and checking out new areas for the pups to take a walk. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a pittie/lab mix and his name is Bentley. He loves to cuddle, play with other dogs, and is sweet as can be! I currently work full time hybrid. I work from home tuesdays and Friday’s and off on weekends. These are the best days for me to have a dog with me since I’m home. I work a 8-4 job. I care for them by spending time, making sure they are fed, walked, and loved on. I have my dog who enjoys chilling or playing with the dogs depending on what the other dog prefers.

Melissa is such a kind and enthusiastic caregiver. Her love of animals is obvious in the way she cares for and treats my furbaby. My dog loves Melissa. She gets so excited whenever she sees Melissa, I know that it means she is being taken care of when I'm away. I never worry about my furbaby being in Melissa's care, its really nice to be able to be away and have true peace of mind that my pet is being loved and spoiled.
Melissa has done such an awesome job with my large boxer mix over the past 2 years! She always treats him like one of her own and he absolutely loves her (and her dog, of course)! She sends me pictures of what he is doing throughout the day so I don’t miss anything! Even though my dog is a bit unruly at times, she handles his behavior with love and care. Highly recommend Melissa for taking excellent care of your precious furbabies!
Melissa is awesome! She took great care of our dog, kept us informed, sent lots of photos, was punctual, went above and beyond and even brought all my packages inside knowing we wouldn't be home for a few days. We highly recommend her!
Our dogs responded with love and calmness immediately when they met Melissa! I'm sure that's because Melissa is calm and obviously loves animals:) She sent us photos of our happy pups when she stopped to take care of them. Did I mention we have three dogs? lol. 100% recommend Melissa!!
Melissa took great care of our fur baby. She sent pictures over the weekend so we knew he was having a good time. He is now very tired and happy! Will use again, thanks!

Schedule
Pet care fits with my routine as I am hybrid for work and only live 10 mins away from my job. It is easy for me to run home over lunch to check on the dog I’m watching or if close by take out. I make time to spend with the dog I am watching and that they feel comfortable in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
While dogs are in my home, I treat them like my own. They are able to sleep with me, be on furniture, etc. I take them for walks to get exercise. With parent permission I make ice cream treats (blueberries & Greek yogurt frozen together) and give them to the dog. I make sure they feel comfortable, are fed and have plenty of water. If a parent would like me to administer meds or give a bath, I am happy to do so!
Pets
A typical day
Some of the activities I do are playing with toys and going on long walks. My neighborhood is big and plenty of space to take laps around. If your dog is okay in the car, I like finding other places to go for walks as well.
