I'm a mature woman who works as a teacher. I am a pet parent to a 12 year old border collie mix, Belle, and two lovely cats. As she ages, Belle has become stressed by hosting sleepovers, so at this time I am only able to provide drop-in care for your pets in the comfort of your own home. Many dogs, especially elderly ones, are most at ease in the familiar surroundings of home when their humans are away. If your dog is more comfortable in your own home while you are away for short periods, I can provide home visits. I offer home visits most weekdays from 6-8 am and from 4-9 pm. Most clients schedule a morning visit, a late afternoon visit, and a bedtime visit. Weekend and holiday visits can usually be scheduled anytime. I am a cat lover too! Most cats, of course, prefer to stay at home, where they can be masters of their domain. I offer home visits for cats that include feeding, grooming, cuddling, and litterbox maintenance. Safety, trust & environment
When I am caring for your beloved fur family member I am very mindful of ensuring that your pet is leashed or in a safely fenced area. Exceptions to this are dogs who are very used to off-leash experiences in dog-friendly areas, and I only allow dogs off leash with the consent of pet parents.

Melissa was amazing as always, the kitties are so well looked after and even our super shy boy comes out for her! The updates are lovely and I never have to worry about anything :)
This was the second time Melissa has looked after our kitties and same as the first time, she is so awesome! We got updates and pictures and didn't have to stress during our vacation at all!
Melissa provided excellent care for my cat, Minx. She sent pictures after every visit so that I was updated on how her visits were going
Melissa took great care of my cats sending updates and photos and letting me know how they were. Even my fearful kitty came out of hiding. I felt my cats were in caring hands.
Melissa was FANTASTIC! So thoughtful and really cared about our cats. It was the first time we had been away since adopting them, and I was a little stressed but we received great updates and pictures! It put me right at ease. You can tell right away Melissa really cares for your fur babies :) Our kitties were very well looked after!
Melissa was great! Was able to book her last minute, very accommodating. My kitty was very happy. Melissa sent me pictures and kept me updated. Definitely would recommend her services to anyone needing a cat sitter!

Schedule
Although I work weekdays from 8-4, I am available outside of those hours for home visits. Weekends seem to be the most requested for drop-in care, and I am very flexible on weekends and school holidays.
