Although I work weekdays from 8-4, I am available outside of those hours for home visits. Weekends seem to be the most requested for drop-in care, and I am very flexible on weekends and school holidays.

When I am caring for your beloved fur family member I am very mindful of ensuring that your pet is leashed or in a safely fenced area. Exceptions to this are dogs who are very used to off-leash experiences in dog-friendly areas, and I only allow dogs off leash with the consent of pet parents.

A typical day
Drop-in visits are tailored to your pet's needs and your requests. Typically that can look like short walks for elderly dogs, then feeding and cuddle sessions. Younger dogs usually need to burn off some energy, so a longer on or off-leash walk (if authorized) is best. Cats--well, they call the shots!

I'm a mature woman who works as a teacher. I am a pet parent to a 12 year old border collie mix, Belle, and two lovely cats. As she ages, Belle has become stressed by hosting sleepovers, so at this time I am only able to provide drop-in care for your pets in the comfort of your own home. Many dogs, especially elderly ones, are most at ease in the familiar surroundings of home when their humans are away. If your dog is more comfortable in your own home while you are away for short periods, I can provide home visits. I offer home visits most weekdays from 6-8 am and from 4-9 pm. Most clients schedule a morning visit, a late afternoon visit, and a bedtime visit. Weekend and holiday visits can usually be scheduled anytime. I am a cat lover too! Most cats, of course, prefer to stay at home, where they can be masters of their domain. I offer home visits for cats that include feeding, grooming, cuddling, and litterbox maintenance. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
