I grew up on a farm with all of my sisters and brothers dogs. Being the youngest I was responsible for taking care of them while my siblings worked. I dog sit locally here in lake Stevens and can provide great references! We are not allowed dogs at our rental so it is a treat to be able to love a fur baby! I have open availability as a stay at home mom. My son who is 9, (if dogs are kid friendly) would love to play fetch with your fur babies if not I will leave him at home during my drop ins. I usually plan on 2 to 3 walks a day that are decently long. Food and fresh water each visit. And plenty of love and cuddles of course! I have experience with reptiles and birds. I own 3 parrots. I am not interested in charging a bunch extra per pet. We can agree on a flat rate that is fair for myself and you.

I cannot bring your fur baby to my house but am happy to watch them at your place. Pets often enjoy staying in a familiar place and comfort is key when I watch them :).

Melissa has been housesitting for us to care for our pup, along with providing drop-in care ever since we got him 2 years ago. She has gone above and beyond for us on so many occasions. It is such a true blessing to be able to have such a trustworthy, responsible, caring and overall great human being, to have provided care for our fur baby! We will be moving from the area and will miss the comfort we have always felt knowing she is the one caring for Loki. I cannot say enough positive things about Melissa!
The pictures made us miss our furry friends so much but they were in such good hands with Melissa. I’m so grateful for her care and help.
Melissa has watched my dog in the past and I was happy that she was available to watch my cat Tinker for a few days. She freshened her food, water and litter box. It’s nice to have someone reliable to watch your pets.
Melissa went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable while I was away for work. Updating me often knowing Hailey was well cared for. Hailey seemed much happier after a long day of having to be gone, Would recommend Melissa to everyone!

Melissa is great, and I highly recommend her services. She is professional, a great communicator and adores animals. She takes steps to ensure every animal in her care if safe and happy. I use Melissa as a dog walker 1-2 times a week. She communicates with me via text so I know what time she arrives to my house and leaves. She respects my training techniques and reinforces when on walks. Lastly, she provides each dog with the level of exercise they need that day. For example, she may extend a walk by a few minutes or go for a jog to release the pups energy.
