Experienced dog family
We are an experienced dog family. My husband, myself, and our 8 year old husky Skye have been fostering sled dogs for the last 10 years and have gained a lot of experience handling dogs of many personalities and needs. We recently moved to California where we both work from home.

Melissa and Samuel did great with my husky! They did a great meet and greet with their dog and asked the right questions about my boy’s routine. I could tell their experience and competence. I got updated throughout the day and I picked up a happy and tired dog, which is no easy feat with my husky. One of the best experiences I’ve had on Rover with very trustworthy and responsible sitters. Will be rebooking!
Melissa and Samuel took great care of my dog during our trip. They gave her lots of walks and play time with dogs, and sent pics and video updates. They were both very calm and confident with my energetic young husky mix, and talking about their experience fostering huskies I could tell that they loved dogs and also had experience to handle different personalities and training needs. Highly recommend!

My husband and I both work from home and one of us will always be here. Dogs are walked 2-3 times per day with timing depending on weather.

We have a fenced-in yard and our friendly husky to keep your dog company. She's an experienced host and is eager to make guests welcome.
Pets
A typical day
WEEKDAYS - We get up around 630 am and go for a 30-60 min walk from 7-8. Bathroom breaks regularly throughout the day in the backyard. Afternoon walkies from 4 -5 ish. A final evening constitutional is done around 8. Dogs are fed after morning and afternoon walks. WEEKENDS - While we often stick to a regular week day schedule on the weekends, we may also go for a hike in the near by Diablo foothills. NOTE - Timing of walkies are subject to weather and may be reduced in the event of hot weather in which case toilet breaks will be provided but walkies will be done while the sun is down.
