Your fur baby’s second home!
As a former Air Force Medical Technician I have medical experience with humans, for the past nine years I have cared for many pets with medications. If your baby needs daily medication (eye drops, ear drops, pills or injections) I can easily accomplish on schedule. Our Bernedoodle, Claira, loves other dogs and cats! Daily walks are part of our routine and I would love to include your fur baby too! My three human children love having guest dogs and enjoy snuggling with them on the couch or in bed! All pets are free range in the house and are welcome on our furniture. Our house has a large fenced in backyard and the pool has a 4 ft fence that keeps all children (human and pets) safe! After leaving our little dog with a man a few years ago that left him traumatized, we were very apprehensive about leaving him again with a non family member. All of that fear was gone when we went for a meet up with Melissa. Melissa and her family were wonderful with our little dog while we were away for a few days. Her home was perfect for our little Harley. She has a huge backyard and was wonderful about letting him up on her furniture (because he is a little spoiled). She kept us updated daily with pictures while we were away and we felt very relieved knowing that he was in such great care. We will most definitely leave him with her again!!
Melissa and her family were wonderful with my dog! She came home relaxed and happy and not at all stressed...I definitely recommend Melissa!

I was nervous leaving my pup for the first time but upon meeting Melissa, I knew she would be in good hands. She was amazing and I was able to enjoy my vacation and know that Sascha was being given the best care. Melissa sent daily texts and pictures of Sascha to tell me what the pack was up to for the day. I was so thrilled that she took the extra time to keep me in the loop. Thanks so much, Melissa! You're awesome!
My chihuahua is a very special dog, but thank you to Melisa for the effort of taking care of him within a short period of time. She daily kept us informed of him through texts and pictures. We highly recommend her for any of your pets care.

Schedule
I am home full-time and will offer my time and affection to your baby while you are away! I walk my neighborhood everyday, please bring walking harnesses/collars.

I have a fenced in backyard and one dog with three cats to keep your fur baby company! Our screened in porch is a pet favorite. All pets are loved on and treated like a member of our family.

A typical day
On school days we walk to the bus stop and continue to explore the neighborhood with all of its smells after the human kids are off to school. We meet the bus every afternoon. I have three human children ages: 13, 10, and 7. We go to church every Sunday and that is the only time the pets are left alone.

- Please let me know if your pet has special needs or unique triggers. I prefer dogs over a year old but will consider a puppy on a case by case basis. My dog, Claira, is very gentle with smaller dogs and she ignores the cats entirely. Small dogs hold a special place in my heart and spend most of the day in my arms! Large dogs are gentle giants and welcome too!! I would love include your fur baby into our family while you are away!
