This approach helps reduce stress for the pets and allows me to maintain their regular routines. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise routines, and any special care needs like administering medication or providing extra playtime. I also keep the home clean and organized, often leaving it tidier than I found it. While staying, I make myself at home by bringing basic groceries and personal essentials, so I can focus entirely on the pets. Safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide plenty of attention, walks, and ensure the pets feel loved and secure while their family is away. I send regular updates and photos to keep owners informed during my stay.

Melissa took care of our three boxer dogs for the second time this year. She stayed at our house with the pups each time. Melissa always takes very attentive care for our dogs’ varied needs and I trust her completely to provide them with all the attention they deserve. My house is always in good shape when I get home and she always provides great communication and plenty of pictures throughout her time with our doggies. I fully recommend Melissa for any dog services one may need. She’s greatly knowledgeable and experienced.

I plan my schedule around my clients' needs to ensure I’m fully available to care for their pets and if given advance notice, will even take time off work to stay at your house full time. Each day, I dedicate time for feedings, walks, playtime, and any special requests like administering medication or brushing. Throughout the week, I keep a flexible routine that allows me to balance my personal responsibilities with pet sitting. Whether it’s a morning walk, a quick drop-in visit or an extended stay, I stay organized to ensure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me—it’s a passion that fits naturally into my lifestyle.

I’m experienced in giving pills, vitamins, and even administering shots for diabetic dogs.
