Hi, I’m Melissa, an artist and teacher who is equally passionate about animals! I have been professionally pet sitting on and off for about 8 years but have been caring for animals most of my life. During the summer, I have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks. During the school year, I am available most weekends. I have been a dog lover all my life, bringing home strays and taking care of the neighborhood cats as a child. I love all animals big and small and I am comfortable caring for and walking any size dog. I’m also happy to help with house sitting tasks like watering plants, collecting mail, or anything else you need while you’re away. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Your pet will get lots of love and attention while you’re away!

I can stop by whatever time is needed to love on them! I know my dogs like to go out at a specific time every morning so I will try my very best to go at the time that you request.

Melissa is wonderful! She takes our pup on walks twice a week, provides great pictures, and belly rubs! Melissa carefully listened to our concerns and special requests and has been attentive to all of our instructions! We love having her help us out!
Melissa was excellent to work with! She dropped in on my cat while I was away and sent lots of pics each day. She is also a clear and responsive communicator, so I was never in doubt that my guy would be safe and cared for.
Melissa was awesome! I'm so grateful for this app and how easy it was to have someone check in on my kitty. She was very responsive with me and sent a lot of photos to show me how everything was going. My kitty warmed up to her and she is such a shy kitty. Once she got out the laser pointer they became besties, I'm so grateful for this experience!!
Melissa was WONDERFUL!!! She was looking in on our two cats while we were gone and always sent pictures and told us what was going on at each visit. It made us feel so much better about leaving them for such a long period of time. Will definitely use her again!!

I am a teacher so I only pet sit on weekends during the school year but I’m available almost any time during the summer (June and July)
