I work from home day 3 days a week, and my husband Ben works from home full time. We are free during the week, evenings and weekends to look after your pup! Merlin is a cockapoo, super friendly, happy and loves playing - we go out for 2-3 good walks every day (merlin has lots of energy, and we all love being outside)! We love long walks to Forge Dam, out in the peak district and meeting new dogs!

A typical day
- A morning walk in the park - A snooze or cuddle on the sofa - Sniff around the garden (and toilet breaks) - A lunch time play on the fields with the ball - Game of tug and war with Merlin - Treats & sniffing out treats hidden - Dinner time - More naps before an evening walk (our favourite evening stroll is at Surprise View, to get some fresh air and see the sunset)

I have been a dog lover my whole life and have a lovely dog Merlin, since he was a puppy in 2021. Your dog will become part of the family and we cant wait to meet you! Merlin LOVES all dogs and would love to make new friends for walks & sleepovers. My husband Ben & I have just bought our first house in Sheffield and finally have space to host other doggies! We work from home and are around all the time to look after your dog, and live close to 2 different parks for lots of walks, playings and exploring. We also love a hike in the peak district for those doggies joining us for a weekend or boarding. I have experience of puppy training & also looking after very nervous dogs.

Melissa and Ben have been fantastic with our Golden Retriever, Milo. He can be a bit anxious and takes time to get comfortable with new people and environments. Melissa and Ben have been incredibly accommodating and have made sure Milo has settled in quickly, and have provided updates, photos and videos through day care sessions which has been reassuring. Would highly recommend.
My dog Cooper had a wonderful time with Melissa, Ben and Merlin! Melissa was so lovely and helpful getting everything organised beforehand, and then sent lots of photos and updates with how he was getting on. Cooper came home very happy and worn out from lots of playing. He can't wait for his next holiday to Merlin's house!
Yogi stayed with Melissa, Ben and their dog Merlin for 5 nights, this was Yogis second visit. Melissa kept me updated on Yogis stay, which kept my mind at ease, as he has never stayed anywhere since birth. We are looking forward to booking another stay very soon.
Melissa looked after our dog Yogi overnight and was absolutely fantastic. Yogi had a lovely time with Melissa, Ben and their dog Merlin, and it was clear he felt right at home. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos throughout his stay, which gave us great peace of mind. Melissa was so good that we have already booked her again, highly recommend!
