❤️🌿🌸🦋 Experienced, loving, trustworthy home away from home for your fur baby. 🐶 I have had small dogs since childhood, and my 18-year-old Chihuahuas passed away 2 years ago. I miss the companionship of dogs and my heart has so much love to give, so I'm offering home boarding to help pet parents have peace of mind while they are away. I have a Ph.D, and I'm very knowledgeable about pets. I work from home remotely, so am here 24/7 to care for your fur babies as if they were my own. I provide daily updates and photos/videos of your pet. Have a *fenced yard*, just blocks from Midtown/Design District/Wynwood, and lots of cuddles, playtime, outside time; lots of attention, all day, every day while you are away! I know how much they will be missing you, so do my best to make the time apart easier for them. Since I was a child, I've had a special way with animals; I gain their trust very quickly and most of the pets I have boarded have bonded to me during their stay and absolutely love me, and usually stay close to me the entire time, on my lap while I work, sleep on the bed with me if allowed, come for walks around the neighborhood. I never leave them except when I get groceries. They are usually so sad to leave me and the stress of being in a new home quickly goes away with the amount of cuddles, play, attention, etc! My rates are super affordable for a limited time, as I am new to the Rover app and need reviews to show up in the searches! This does not reflect my quality of care, and I often lock in the lower rates for dogs that were a really good match. I also ask that you please leave a review if you book me, as it's the only way on Rover for a new sitter to be seen! And I am the most loving, caring pet momma, so I'm trying hard to build up this profile to help you and others fund the *best* boarding (house, fenced yard, work from home 24/7, no guests or other people, very peaceful! Most pets bond to me during their stay, they can sense my empathy and love. 🐶❤️ Excited to love and care for your fur babies! 🥰

Melissa was absolutely AMAZING with my dog Bruiser! You can tell she loves dogs and has a special bond with chihuahuas like mine. She was really communicative, provided updates throughout the stay, and was really accommodating for us with a semi last minute sitting request and when things went south with me getting back in time for my trip she had no issues re-accommodating and staying with my pup a little longer. I feel happy knowing I can leave my dog safely in her care again in the near future if I ever need to head back out of state!
Melissa provided frequent updates and pictures during Toby’s 8 night stay, which was hugely appreciated. She was communicative and flexible during he booking process, too. Don’t hesitate to utilize her services! Thanks Melissa.

Schedule
I work remotely from home so I'm home 24/7 with a fenced yard and your pet will have my full attention all day while it is with me. I really love dogs since mine have passed away at 18 years old so I will be lavishing yours with love and affection as if they were my own.

I have a fully fenced yard and since I'm home 24/7 as I work from home I supervise your baby constantly and it will be my little buddy while you are away so it doesn't feel stressed missing you, It will feel very loved and cared for.
A typical day
I work from home so I can play, cuddle, and give attention to your baby 24/7 so it doesn't feel lonely and will have companionship with me. Walks/yard outdoors time morning, afternoon, and evening.
