Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog owner my entire life, up until my yellow lab, Mollie, passed away in 2017. In addition to being a dog owner my whole life, I’ve been a dog sitter since age 15. I daily walked and played with my neighbor’s two dogs throughout high school and college. In addition to that, I would take them to the vet when needed. I also house sat for three labs every summer for two weeks throughout college when my former boss would go on vacation each year. I moved to Michiana 2 years ago for my job, and I’m would love to take care of your pet! Walking and playing with dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I get off of work at 12:30 p.m. every day, so my schedule will not be an issue.

I would highly recommend Melissa as a very responsible dog caretaker. She cared for my “fur babies” during her high school and college years. From their puppy stage through senior years, where they needed special care, she could not have more compassionate and loving. I never worried when they were being cared for by Melissa, my babies” were safe. When the time came for them to cross the Rainbow Bridge, a very young mixed terrier rescue came in the home. He was unpredictable and scared, but Melissa won him over. It’s been three years since she relocated for her job and he still squeals with excitement when she comes to visit him. Thank you Melissa for all you’ve done.
Melissa is a very reliable dog loving person. She has taken excellent care of her own dogs and her friends and neighbors dogs. She is very caring and responsible, and I definitely trust her to take good care of my own dog.
